Beginner's Guide: Adding Neighbors

Having neighbors in The Sims Freeplay helps you complete social tasks, so, here's how you can add neighbors:

1. iMessage or Game Center (iOS users)

You can iMessage the player if you personally know them, or add them via WiFi or Bluetooth if they are nearby by going to Settings > Game Center > Allow nearby people to add you through WiFi or Bluetooth.

2. Google Play Games (Android users)

In order to add players as neighbours using Google Play Games, you need to have a Google Play Games account so you can follow them on Google+. Some players have complained 'though that they have lost progress in their game via Google Play Games, so, best to connect your game to Facebook as well.

3. Facebook

Here's how you can add neighbors using Facebook:

Make sure you are properly logged in to Facebook and that you are using the correct account. To do that, launch the game, tap the green "..." main menu icon in the corner of the screen, then open Account Manager (purple keyhole icon). Below the Facebook bar, tap "Log in" which will redirect you to Facebook. Login to your Facebook account. Go back to the game. Force quit and reopen the game.

When a TSFP player adds you on Facebook, they will automatically be added to your party boat. Note: Only friends who are also logged into Facebook in The Sims FreePlay will be visible as neighbors.

Just like us humans, your sims have basic needs that you have to fulfill in order for them to become "inspired" (you'll know your sims are inspired once you see green sparkles around your sim and the cupcake icon found just above the needs bar stops flashing) and have the energy to work, perform tasks or hobbies, and to earn more than an "uninspired" sim would. 1. Beginner's Guide: Buying / Selling / Moving Items

BUYING / SELLING / MOVING ITEMS During the course of your game, you will be buying, selling and moving items a lot, so, here's how to do it. Let's have buying a toilet as our first example. See the icon of a chair and a lamp right there? Click it to access the Home Store where you can buy items for your sim's house. Choose the furniture tab on the upper left side and then click on bathroom tab to see the items for your sim's bathroom. At this level (level 1), you only have one for each bathroom items. As you level up, more items will be unlocked and available in the home store. For now, let's choose the Stains Bros. Toilet by clicking on it. To move the toilet, tap on the Home Store, just like when you are buying items.
